I'm super PROUD and HYPE *hehe* to share this experience!
Right before Christmas , I got the opportunity to visit a Junior High School in Bronx,NY and speak with the after school dance program about my dance journey thus far, and what I feel it takes to be a Professional Dancer. It was great to be looking in the eyes of future entertainers and hopefully giving them more hope and encouragement to follow their dreams.
I'm very much still in the beginning phases of my career, and I'm growing and learning every single day. I dont have all the answers and I'm nowhere near where I ultimately see myself, but I'm super thankful I was asked to speak to these young dancers today, and I pray I atleast made a difference in one of their lives. :)

"Yoke dat ish UP......like oh my gawdd"
SOOOOOOOO THIS IS FOR MY FELLLASSS!!!
I have to share something w. my male friends real quick.
So my homegirl is talking to me about how she basically messed around on her man... so we are discussing WHY would she do such a thing? But before we go into that she talks about HOW AMAZING this experience was.
MIND YOU they didnt even have SEX.
MIND YOU she STILL thinking about it.
MIND YOU she WOULD go back for more.
Ok so what HAPPENED??!!!
Long story short it was a night of passionate, ass grabbin, body yokin, tongue kissin, lip nibbling, touching feeling...basically foreplay to the FULLEST. And what she loved the most is that he was YOKIN DAT ISH UPPPPPP! Now if you are not familiar with this term it means just taking control. O'l boy was going for what he wanted...and she was enjoying every moment of this. Nothing more attractive than a man who can non-verbally express how BADDD he wants the cookies, and then what MAKES it even BETTER is when he doesnt really ask he just takes (under the right circumstances of course!).
Now what about the BOYFRIEND??
Her boyfriend is a nice guy BUT she's on her Adina Howards ish ( one hit wonder who sings) freak in the mawwwninn freak in the eveninnnn..just like me i want a rough neckk niggah that cann satisfy meee..) wheww okay sorry thats my JAMMMM i was getting in2 it! back to the boyfriend ... sooo after her passionate night of dry humpin w. Ol boy this caused her to spazz on her man because one night while they were in bed he DECIDED to start rubbing on her leg..and then fall asleep -____- all b.c she was on her laptop.
My girl goess off on him saying and i QUOTE " Yoo wtf do u wanna have sex...he says "yeaa" ...she goes well then" SLAM MY LAPTOP SHUT, THROW IT ON THE FLOOR...AND GET TO EATEN THESE COOKIESS..NIGGAH" bahahahahhahawahahahahha ...question is whyyyy does she have to say this to her MAN???? like u dont even have to do anythinggg...u put in all the work already... like seriously...she's so frustrated b.c she is always the one pouncin on dis niggah..smh.
Moral of this story... fellas if you got a girl that your with, or thats diggin you ....alll that timid.. tryna be extra respectful ish gotta get tossed out the window... MAN UP, say what you want and go GET IT... FINE! GO AHEAD and keep waitin and chillin...cuz pretty soon she is going to be over always initiating convo, sex or whatever else.. and you'll be in the SAME situation as my friends boyfriend. Let this be a Lesson ...DONT say I didnt warn you!!

So you "WANT" a Man
Alright so Ive been asked my opinion on why there are so many single females. And how I feel about dating and stuff. Now I'm not an expert in ANY way, I'm still young trying to figure my shit out as well, but here it goes. Ive broken it down to few of the MAIN reasons, I personally feel some women aren't able to get that male attention they would like.
1. Date Yourself
- All these #Notebook tweets and dream world relationships that happens in movies are NOT real life. If you are sitting around waiting for all of that you will continue to be single for awhile. What you should be doing on a daily basis is CONSTANTLY work on bettering yourself as a woman. You NEED to date yourself be4 you can expect ANY man to A. Respect you and B. want to wife you. All of this to say, RELAX he's going to come, stop going way out your way putting energy in finding a man who "understands you" when you have NOT one clue who the hell you are. So the SAME drill Sergeant questions you be trying to ask a man on the first date, you should ask yourself as well. Knowing yourself will give you a more attractive glow, and you will OOZEE confidence. Once you got that in order, you'll be asking me WHICH guy you should pick and not how to get one. KnowingSelf=Confidence=Attractive=Cant keep men out cha face!
2. What Do you have to offer?
- When thinking about this "ideal" guy, do you have ideal qualities to match? For example
Most females would like a male that can take her out, be a gentleman, funny, goodlooking, has money (lets be real ya'l know its true) and about A BILLION other things. So lets take a moment and check yourself at some point, do have the funds to take him out? you want him to be a gentleman , but are you ladylike? Are you able to follow up with a funny comeback after he makes you laugh,.. umm do YOU have money? I understand that the man is suppose to be the dominate and/or protector of a relationship, but a TRUE queen possess all of these qualities and then some, lets her king Run the Throne (as long as he's not sabotaging shit of course) AND then more than capable of running shit on her own. I could be wrong, but the right guy ain't tryna let you go knowing that his potential girl knows when to be submissive and then can switch it up and be a BOSS.
3. Dont be a Scarecrow !
Meaning HAVE A BRAIN, and if you dont have one then unfortunately you probably will never be promoted to #wifeystatus. Being ONLY drop dead gorgeous (in my opinion) pretty much will just leave you at #fuckbuddystatus. I'm not saying be Einstein, but you have to have some sort of substance to you and be more than capable of holding an intelligent conversation. Or even if your'e not "smart" just knowing whats going on in the world i.e watching the news, reading, and being aware of notable and/or recent movies will get you far. Basically have something to talk about and HAVE AN OPINION!!!!!
4. Lower Your Expectations
NOW wait, wait before you start getting a 'tude I said lower your expectations NOT your standards. That's two completely different things. What I mean is we have to stop thinking that the "perfect" guy is going to find your glass slipper and come galloping after you on his horse. And when you do start dating you cant expect a man to just know everything you like and don't like...us women are crazy and it takes time to learn us. He's a man so he's gonna fuck up b.c dudes are really dumb, but you have to speak up and SAYYYYY how you feel. I'm convinced that when men were created , picking up on clues was NOT thrown in the mix lol, just say how you feel so that he understands you more and this goes for the smallest thing. Also if your not wifey yet you cant expect him to do wifey things...its just not going to happen. My suggestion is during the "dating/getting to know" eachother phase approach it as a growing friendship, just be chill stop fb stalkin and tweetin tryna figure that nigga out. Stop planning your future together after date 1..relaxxxxx enjoy the friendship, the flirting, and all the other cute shit that happens before shit gets deep. Understand that he's human and not a fictional character and know that NO man is going to treat you like HIS queen until you've earned that role in his life.
5. PRESENTATION
Lastily, be aware of how you present yourself this is in ALL areas, even though men be trying to front like they dont be low key stalking, TRUST and believe they DO. They are looking at the things you say on social sites, they are for sure watching you in public when you're not paying attention, how you dress, how you speak, how you interact w.others. So if you on twitter looking like a desperate lonely woman that's NOT poppin or if your sounding like an angry just hate all men type of woman...ummm yeaa NO BUENO. Dress classy, have a likeable personality so when he sits back and stalks you he is understanding the type of female you are. Everything in life is about the presentation, if you don't present yourself in a wifey manner.. you wont be a wifey chick. #TRUTH
That was alot, and I could go on forever, but forreal ladies, dating is only has hard and complicated as you make it. Just live ya life and relaxxx he'll come when you least expect it :) .

Letter To Myself
Dear Michelle,
Hey guhhll, so I just want you to know that you are beautiful the way you are. Don't ever let anyone tell you different, please understand that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to. There is only ONE you on this earth, so be sure to own that and to always walk with your head high. Because I love you, I will say that although you work hard, you can work even harder. You are more than aware of the things you need to work on in your personal life as well as your career. You're a big girl now, its time to start acting like one, wipe your tears and press forward. No one is going to care for you more than I do, always know this never EXPECT anything from anyone no matter how close you are to them, the number ONE person you need to depend on is ME.
Put GOD first, be bold, take chances, make mistakes, cry a little, know that you aren't perfect, know your worth and always remember that anyone who doesn't want your genuine spirit in their life is truly missing out on a great thing. WHERE THE HELL HAVE I BEEN??!!

So ummm yea its been about 6 MONTHS, since I've last posted something. Which is just insaneee !! Let me attempt to sum up my life for the past 6months!!
CAREER!!!
-Getting stronger and more confident everyday!!
- Did Beyonce's Who Run The World video, and was on her "4" special that aired on MTV/BET/VH1 which was such a MAJORRR learning experience as well as a great opportunity! *still cant even believe I did that --weirddd*
- Performed in the First Season of Ms. Rhapsody James's Motivating Excellence Training Program #Dreamcatchers * this program truly helped me find and learn so many different things bout myself, the industry, and my cast members* if you're a NYC dancer i HIGHLY suggest you audition for this program!
-Print Gigs/Iphone promo/Submissions /Auditions/Training.. UHH I JUST LOVE THAT I CAN DO WHAT I LOVE AND SHARE MY PASSION FROM THE BIGGEST OPPORTUNITY TO THE SMALLEST I'M SOOO GRATEFUL
LIFE!!
- Truly enjoying my journey. I'm human so I have my emotional days where i just feel like the whole wide world is sitting on my shoulders and then I have my days where I'm soo happy my smile just starts to lift me off the ground. Recently went on an amazing vacation to Dominican Republic.I definitely want to explore more things outside of the arts tho, cooking classes, learn a language, read more books I just want to fill up the other side of my brain with new information! Stay tuned for blogs on how that's going :)
- Been in NYC a WHOLE YEAR NOW!!Crazy how time flys, cant believe how much has happen in a year! The TRUE friends I've met have been amazing!One thing that does make me happy is that I'm still close to the ppl I NEED to be close with! Major shout out to my Linesisters /Sorors love u girlss soo much! and Congrats to my 7 who got married this past April!! ooooo-ooop!! My family is so freakin supportive and they ARE love, we ALL have our wild family stories but when its all said and done these people were placed in our lives for a reason. Love them :) . As far as relationship love, I feel myself turning into or maturing I should say into a different type of woman that accepts, doesnt accepts, like and/or dislikes certain things completly different than I did 2yrs ago. Letting go of the thought OF NEEDING to be with someone to feel love.And i'm finally getting to a point where I'm in love with myself more than anything. SELF-LOVE is the #loveofmylife

Myself along with 19 other dancers, auditioned and made it thru 2 cuts and an Interview! She picked 10 females and 10 males out of 150+ dancers

Why?
Well unfortunately there arent many dancers residing in NYC that are at the same caliber of dancing as dancers residing in LA, so naturally more jobs are on the west coast. Now $$ also plays a HUGE part in this as well for example, its WAYY cheaper to shoot a video in LA, than in NYC. Rhapsody is from NYC and sincerely wants to raise the bar for dancers here in NYC so then "M.E" was created! This training will consist of building a well-rounded Commercial Dancer!
-For me personally I cant stress how HONORED I am to be chosen by RHAPSODY JAMES!Obviously she sees something in me, and wants to bring that out.This is probably going to be one of the hardest things I've ever done, BUT Im UP for the challenge! I'll be sure to keep yal posted on all the amazing things we do :-) Check out her Promo Video for the Program Below!!

Class Video/Personal Critique :-)
One of my favorite Classes at BDC is Jared Grimes! His Musicality is amazing, and since that is something I struggle with, its extremely beneficial for me to take his class as much as I can!
Personal Critique
1) Use my levels more
2)Be more dynamic, show the difference the groovy parts nd the sharper parts
3)The parts where we were allowed 2 freestyle I could have took more risks
Now to end on a POSITIVE NOTE
1) I give myself props for voluteering to go in a group, he asked 3 girls 2 go up so i figured hey why not!
2) I didnt let my nerves get the best of me and forget the choreo...sometimes i get in my head...nd just FREEZE, luckily this day I didnt.
3) Most importantly I tried, and did my best :-)

Breathe of Fresh Air
I've been realizing lately that the people I surround myself with on a regular basis are the SAME people. Which is perfectly fine, because I love them BUT I feel as though I have subconsciously not put forth any effort in meeting/trusting new people. Just recently I be-friended a really great person, who is so much like me its kind of frightening! But its refreshing to be able to have a conversation with someone and everything just falls into place, and its not rushed or even going in slow-motion but at the PERFECT pace for us. When we speak its such a calming energy that lets me know that this will be something really special. This doesn't happen a lot in life, and I'm not easily impressed, but I have most definitely been inspired. Far beyond " i like you; u like me"..its not even on some ish like that its just an understanding, and I like it.When you have the capability to understand someone without speaking....that's powerful.

I want to be with a MAN who inspires me just by me seeing how they live their life. How they smile, how they speak, how they get angry, how they stress etc. A MAN I admire and look up to! I cant wait for the day that I look into the eyes of the man I know I want to spend the rest of my life with. Who knows maybe I have already and it just hasnt worked itsef out yet. One thing I do know is I have my entire life to find that person, so I'm not in a rush. But when I do I'll do everything in my power to make him feel like the king he is, every moment we have together ;-)
Most importantly I want to be with a man who is my BESTEST FRIEND, not just "my man". I think thats why divorces happen b/c ppl dont marry their FRIEND. Think about it dont you have friends that YOU KNOW will be your friend for life, or even your friends who have been there almost your whole life--and uhhh yal havent gotten a friend-divorce yet *hehe*. At the end of the day I just want to be happy!

Goodbye #2010 Hello #2011
This is my FIRST YEAR NOT IN SCHOOL!! PRAISE HIM!!!!
Anywho, lol!
The New Year makes everyone believe that this is their time to "start over" its a "new" them, and things are going to be "so" different....Just a few things be4 we get ahead of ourselves. #noshade
Your'e going to have the same bills, same job, and more than likely the same problems as you did the previous year. So lets not completely throw the previous year out the window! I feel as if some people get a TAD BIT carried away.Ur WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE is not going to miraculously change!!#cmonson
My suggestion is to reflect on the ENTIRE year of #2010 the UPS the DOWNS and figure out how you will address them IN #2011. What can you do better to achieve even MORE success? And as far as the "Downs" evaluate what went wrong, realize why it went wrong, and try your best 2 prevent it from happening again!
Myself Personally I had an AMAZING #2010 . I can honestly say I know WHO I am b/c of #2010
As far as #2011 I feel like everything is going in the PERFECT direction, and I can feel in my heart that this year will be a build-up before my career truly sky rockets in #2012, Now I could be totally wrong, God may surprise me and make it happen this year! But either way I KNOW I'm about to be blessed far beyond what I could ever imagine! Def in a Happy Place! Go Me! haha
